Paranormal Activity
So most of you have by now have probably seen the advertisements for the new horror movie "Paranormal Activity" or at least heard about it. The one thing that I have been noticing time and again how both the advertisements and interviews keep mentioning how it is the scariest movie ever made. I just got to know what is it that makes it so scary. I mean there have been plenty of scary movies in the past that could easily obtain the title of scariest movie ever, but what makes this movie any different? I know I will have to rely on other sources for this answer cause I personally don't like horror movies, but that doesn't mean that I am not curious. I do admit that they do a good job of portraying this claim by using the camera night vision to record the audience which in my opinion does add a dramatic/creepy flare to the commercial.

Basically, it's not the scariest movie of all time, but it is pretty creepy. The two characters in the film are somewhat loveable, and audience basically slowly watches them fall apart. The film's narrative is very clever, and when the film's tone become dark and dry, the audience becomes vunerable, just in time for some big scares. I only say it's not the scariest film ever because most of the big scares are right near the end. Still, I felt it was worth watching.
